The room with the pool was amazing

The food at the pool bar was so expensive and not good. We paid $74 for two drinks a nachos and jalapeno poppers. The nachos contained baked beans (inserted photo)

Convenient location, comfortable clean room, great swimming pool, amazing restaurant.

The only disappointment I had was that I needed to change my booking from 2 nights to 1 as my flights had changed and I needed to leave earlier than expected. I rang a few days before my arrival and the staff member advised that was possible and to speak to the front desk when I arrived. On arrival I was informed by the staff member on the front desk that this would be fine and I could change my check out date and receive a refund, and that I needed to also contact Booking.com. On contacting Booking.com I was advised that I could not change my dates and receive a refund, it was advised that the Mercure had declined this request. So, to date I have still not had an explanation as to why this request was declined. The communication was poor in regard to this issue.
