Super séjour. Très bon acceuil . Super appart .Assez propre mais nous avons constaté quelques lacunes qui nous ont obligé a refaire le menage en debut de séjour et nous étions pas au courant qu'il fallait donner une caution . On reviendra.

When claiming our keys we were told that the place we were staying was not even in Chatel. We had to reload all our luggage and get the taxi to Linga over 2 miles away from Chatel. We were told that we could get linen on arrival but when there was told that the linen place was not open and they would sort it the following day - which they didn’t. We thought that the photos and description of Chatel Reservation were extremely misleading. We thought that Chatel Reservation, when booked, was centrally located in an ideal spot for getting to all restaurants and ski areas. In fact is states on hotel.com ski in/ski out access from your apartment. This clearly was not the case at all. When booking through Chatel Reservation you could literally end up anywhere in the Linga/Chatel/Super Chatel region. The ski hire that we booked was centrally located that instead of where we were actually staying which was unbelievably inconvenient. I cannot stress enough I put reviews online all the time all very balanced and fair. I have never been more disappointed in this inaccurate selling of this rental property. The bed we stayed in had a separate room with bunk beds and in the kitchen area there was a pullout sofa bed. The property itself was not very clean, areas in the bathroom and kitchen area had not been cleaned properly. The property was small and quite close to the nearest bus stop. The busses were every 10 minutes mostly.

We requested an apartment in the town centre initially and continued to email before the holiday for a location address, however no-one got back to us. As a result, our transfer dropped us at the agency and wouldn't wait to take us to the property. We (2 females with 3 bags) had to drag our heavy bags across town in the snow to pick up the keys from another agency, and then all the way to our accommodation which was up a ridiculously long, very steep hill and then up 8 sets of steep stairs. Had we been aware of this, we would have requested other accommodation way before arriving. I am not particularly well and this location ruined our week which we look forward to all year. The lack of communication was shocking, and the inappropriate location was simply unacceptable. This is our worst experience with HomeAway and will stop us from using it again in the future.

Great stay. accommodation was just right for us, family of 4 but would say that the description was 2 bedroom s with 2 double beds and 3 singles - this was a double bunk bed in one room and single bunk beds in another and a mattress for the 3rd single. accommodation would have been very cramped for 7. Location was great, bus stop at top of drive for east access to ski lifts or easy 10 minute walk into town - we stored our equipment at the ski hire shop in town and walked each day - from there we got to choose which bus or lift to access the slopes on, there are 5 access points to choose from in Chatel. I have marked the cleanliness down as the bathroom wasn't as clean as i would have expected but I think this is a function of choosing to do your own cleaning or paying 50 Euro for end of stay cleaning.

The Apartment was clean and well equipped with good facilities, ideal as Ski accommodation. The location is a little off the main road which makes it quiet, but ideally a car is needed.

Wat ontzettend tegenviel is dat het appartement niet echt schoon was toe we er in trokken. Echter er zijn geen schoonmaakspullen in de kast en dus was het bij het verlaten ook niet echt mogelijk het gepoetst achter te laten. Prompt wordt er 50 euro afgetrokken van de borg. Gemakkelijk manier om wat extra geld te maken

The accommodations was a one room bed sit with a bathroom, the beds were pull out bunk beds with a kitchenette and lounge all in one. It s was what we booked, was clean and the water was hot so a great base for a cheap ski week in the alps close to too the main ski lift in chatel, down sides, small, bunks were hard, you have to take your own bed covers etc and your away from the main resort so no night life or local restaurants which are around an mile away and up a very steep hill
