"A thoroughly relaxing‘mini- resort’ style visit that was excellent!"

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at Agincourt in Clifton Beach. We had a comfortable, clean apartment on the second floor with a gorgeous sea view, and a balcony. Fans in the living room and bedroom, with aircon which was unnecessary.There’s a lift , which was essential, and undercover off street parking for guests. The saltwater pool was fabulous, very warm, surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation. Lots of sunbeds available poolside, with shade provided naturally as the sun shifted. I chose Clifton Beach specifically because it’s a quiet residential area with no commercial activities.

It was my mistake in not realising that Agincourt is completely self catering- inasmuch that guests have to supply everything, apart from very basic necessities for one night. I did however hire a beach towel, and an extra tea towel, and two more bath towels as one towel and one hand towel is insufficient for 5 nights. I didn’t like the induction stove top that had the dial instructions worn off, but that’s also a personal gripe. There’s literally no shops within walking distance , by the way. You have to drive to Smithfield to buy everything for your stay.

Great Location. Very convenient for access to Palm Cove and the surrounding areas. Nice to hear and see the ocean from our balcony.

Nothing bad occurred to us. Very happy with the stay and facilities.
