Location excellent in centre of CBD, room was nice and clean, shower was decent with separate bath

We had arranged with the hotel to check in at 3.00 pm and this was confirmed as ok. However, when we arrived, we were told they running behind schedule and our room wouldn't be ready until 4.30. I understand things happen out of receptions control, but I felt it would have been courteous for them to contact me and tell me this was the case, rather than having to wait around unnecessarily. We did have a show to go to, and this made things a bit tight for time.

Location - amazing. Staff - friendly, professional and incredibly helpful. Beds - so comfy. Breakfast - smaller offerings but really tasty. The Westin is definitely my go to choice for Melbourne stays!

The balcony door was so hard to close, I wasn’t strong enough and had to call reception for help. Both reception and the gentlemen who came up were so lovely and nice!

Great room, good location

The rooms with the "best view" looks over to a run down, graffiti riddled building on Swanson st, check in was a nightmare, dont go on a weekend if you have plans that are time sensitive, room was not ready until an hour later, check in was at 3pm, got a complimentary drink that could not be served within 45 minutes of waiting. Have told property to contact regarding some sort of compensation but no contact was made, for a high end hotel, will choose more wisely next time.
