"Friendly and well located"

8.0

We stayed here with our two children aged 7 and 5. The family room was more like a suite - extremely spacious with two bedrooms, a living room and bathroom, and a balcony with mountain views. The breakfast was generous with cereals, different types of bread, yoghurt, cooked and cold meats. There was a DVD mini library which came in handy for the kids in the late afternoon, free wifi and a health spa with Jacuzzis. The hotel had a discount card to reduce the cost of ski passes, and a complementary shuttle to the bus stop/car park. There was ample hot water, places for boot storage. Beds were extremely comfortable with good mattresses. The only thing missing was a kettle in the room, as it would have been nice to be able to have a warm drink when unwinding at the end of the day. Otherwise perfect, and would definitely stay there again.

"Just a few meters from the Alpine Express!"

10.0

This nice classic hotel is very conveniently located near the Alpine Express gondola, just wake up, enjoy a good breakfast at the hotel and jump into your ski boots to go riding some of the best slopes in the alps, Saas Fee! If you arrive by car, the portier will come and pick you up with an electric wagon at the Parking terminal as Saas Fee is car-free.

"Warm, central place to stay with a nice staff.."

8.0

The Hotel is very centrally located next to the village square. The best thing about the hotels is the "ice breaker crew", the name with which the hotel staff is known as. I was the first guest for this year summer season, my first visit to Saas Fee. Daniel, the 'dude' was very courteous in explaining to me the various excursions I could do. My only suggestion (maybe its mistimed) is to have a wider menu on the room service. Will be back in jan 2013...

"Great place to stay, and not just for skiers"

10.0

Excellent hotel, in the middle of Saas-Fee ( which is a lovely place on it`s own, less pricey and less pretentious than Zermatt). The hotel is very close to cable-cars and all ski lifts, we could see 3 different cable-car routes from our window! It is worth upgrading to glacier view room since the view is absolutely magnificent. We arrived on December 29th, having not reserved the table for New Year`s Eve dinner and the hotel manager has kindly found us a place in a hotel`s BBQ restaurant - the food there was really good, and portions are huge. We also used the jacuzzi facility at the hotel and loved it. Overall we had a great experience and would return.

"Rollout the white carpet, Gl"

10.0

Glacier Hotel's service is great as the experience of being in the Alps in the middle of the Wallis. From a wonderful morning buffet, to excellent room furnishings and comfort....the service you expect on your week or weekend away is well worth the dollar spent.
