Staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble

A coffee machine in the room would be a nice little addition, but free tea and coffee, cookies etc always available in the kitchen.

Lovely welcome. Hosts made us feel right at home and encouraged us to treat it like a home. Had a lovely couple of hours chilling in lounge reading after whistle stop tour of city. Right on tram route and across from major attractions. Would stay again.

This was our favorite stay on our trip thus far. Our hosts, who were filling in for the regular owners, were wonderful people and so friendly and helpful. The expansive continental breakfast was wonderful and the property is really beautiful. You can’t beat the location in terms of access to trams and walking and the major sights of Christchurch and this is the only place we’d consider staying if we returned.

Nothing. The stairs to our room would’ve been a challenge with our luggage except that the youthful porter/host took our bags for us!

Great location. Clean & quiet.

The shower had a poor design as it was on the same level as the floor, with only a curtain.
