Wonderful views and lovely gardens, staff were great and extremely welcoming!

Sorrento is truly a wonderful place. We stayed at this hotel as part of our honeymoon, and the front desk team welcomed us so warmly, even congratulating us on our special trip. The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking, and I’m so grateful to the staff for making us feel genuinely at home. The restaurant staff was impeccable — greeting us by name every single day — and the maitre, Domenico, was incredibly kind and professional. The rooms were spotless and well maintained. All in all, it’s absolutely worth visiting Sorrento, and if you do, don’t hesitate to stay at Parco dei Principi — you won’t regret it!

I would strongly caution anyone considering a stay at Parco dei Principi in Sorrento. Our experience here was one of the worst we’ve had in years of travel, and the hotel’s management only made it worse after the fact. Our first room was completely uninhabitable due to mold. This was not “a smell of humidity” as the hotel later tried to spin it—it was harmful black mold, clearly visible on the intake vent, and it made both me and my daughter physically unwell. A professional even confirmed it from photos. Yet, despite raising this issue on the very first night, my family was not moved immediately and was left to stay in these unsafe conditions. When we were finally moved, the problems didn’t stop. On another night in the new room, none of the showers worked and the only water available was scalding hot from the bath. My family of five, including young children, could not even clean ourselves. That is a basic requirement of any hotel, regardless of how many stars it claims. The rest of the property was equally disappointing: • Pool consistently dirty and unusable (lazy lifeguards closed during light rain). • Filthy and worn furniture, rugs, and chairs. • Bathrooms in dire need of bleaching and resealing. • Overall upkeep far below what you would expect, even at a 3-star property, let alone one advertising itself as luxury. And if that wasn’t enough, the real nightmare began after checkout. The hotel initially promised a refund of two nights. Weeks of back and forth later, they wired us less than what they agreed, shorting us by over €130. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this, the hotel has refused to correct their own underpayment. To be clear: the staff in the breakfast room were wonderful, and Amar at the Blu Bar deserves credit for his warmth and excellent recommendations. But these individuals cannot make up for a hotel that fails to deliver on even the most basic standards of safety, cleanliness, and honesty. Parco dei Principi markets itself as a 5-star destination. In reality, it is poorly maintained, mismanaged, and dismissive of guest concerns—even when health and safety are at stake. Save yourself the frustration and choose one of the many other truly excellent hotels in Sorrento.

Incredible location. Just close enough to be quick trip but far enough away to not be in the crowds. This property is amazing. With pool, beach, multiple food options, elegance and to top it off incredible staff. We cannot say enough good things about our stay. Room was big, we had a balcony looking over the beautiful gardens. The cliff location was amazing with incredible views, sunsets, etc! Would book here again every time.
