Great service, daily room service, great views sea side, close to city centre.

Uncomfortable hard pillows. No USB ports. Reception provided wall socket port after asking. Pool wasn't the cleanest with leaves and sticks left at the bottom for days and area in need of maintenance to decking, lights and garden. Close to hospital and experienced screaming ambulance attending to call out emergencies.

The sliding door to balcony was very hard to open and close, the locking mechanism so loose that I was locked out there and fortunately my wife was inside at the time.

Location of hotel. Ocean view room. The restaurant on site was pleasant. Hotel staff polite and welcoming. Good water pressure in shower.

This venue is looking very tired, and frankly, unloved. It could do with a re-vamp. Stained carpets in corridors sets the scene. No adjustable climate control in room, just a single switch for A/C. Shower curtain which doesn't prevent water from the shower ending up on the bathroom floor. Shower over bath in my room - Be mindful of this if your mobility is an issue when booking.

I like the location and the bed was comfortable and room service was fast and the food was good.

The hotel is tired and needs renovations, the room was freezing even with the aircon off. There was mold on the ceiling, only one power point worked out of five and the bathtub felt flimsy and like I would fall through while showering.

The view was quite nice waking up to a beach view was very refreshing.

There were 1 cockroach I saw, and the linen sheets on the bed were the only blankets provided as I was expecting a quilted blanket due to the weather.

Location was good and views were good, buffet breaky was great aswell.

In our room there was a little stainless still ramp made to step up into the bathroom, it had holes drilled in it with sharp edges and the front edge was a couple of mm off the floor and also a sharp edge. It sliced a huge gash in the bottom of my foot. Bed was comfy but No doona on the bed or quilt, only a sheet. Had a horrible sleep. Fly screens on balcony door would be great. Wanted doors open in evening but all the bugs kept coming in for the lights.

Beautiful location, incredible ocean views, close to the esplanade shops (10 minute walk to the city) but close to the hospital. The hotel provided a cot for my baby which was so appreciated.

The bed was very soft (as were the pillows) which was difficult to get comfortable.
