Radisson RED Brussels

The staff were fantastic, especially Anna Fay (sorry ive more than likely spelt the name wrong!) Very welcoming throughout our stay and very helpful. The location was a little walk from the centre, however there are busses you can catch into town if you didnt want to take the 15/20 min walk. The hotel is lovely, nice and clean. Breakfast is good, there is a lot of choice and the quality is there too. The gym is basic but you can still do a basic weight and cardio work out. The sauna heated up quickly and was a nice addition to our stay as I didn't see that there was one until we saw it. The beds are really really comfy and we both slept very well. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Szerintem nem elfogadható, hogy egy Radisson-ban (még ha az RED is) a meleg vízre 5 percet kell várni, a paplan pedig annyira meleg volt, hogy nem tudtam aludni benne.

Chambre spacieuse, propre et très calme. Nous avons très bien dormi.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist auf jeden Fall das Personal. Ich war alleine unterwegs und wurde von den Mitarbeitern durchweg sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam betreut. Man hat deutlich gemerkt, dass sie sich bemühen, die baulichen Mängel des Hotels durch guten Service und Freundlichkeit auszugleichen. Gerade als Alleinreisender war das Personal für mich der klare Lichtblick während des gesamten Aufenthalts.Das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine große Auswahl, sodass ich mich gut versorgt gefühlt habe.

Das Hotel ist baulich in einem absolut katastrophalen Zustand. Bereits im ersten Zimmer fielen die gravierenden Mängel sofort auf: Die Klimaanlage lief extrem laut und ließ sich nicht abschalten. Nach dem Wechsel in ein anderes Zimmer stellte sich leider heraus, dass die Probleme nicht behoben waren.Besonders ärgerlich: Die Steckdosen sind so locker, dass sie beim Herausziehen des Steckers einfach mit herauskommen. Am schlimmsten war jedoch die Dusche. Hier wackelt wirklich alles – vom Handtuchhalter über den Duschkopfhalter bis zu den anderen Befestigungen. Das Gefühl ist extrem billig und unsicher, und man hat ständig Angst, dass etwas abbricht. Leider war das auch im zweiten Zimmer nicht anders.Insgesamt wirkt das gesamte Hotel stark renovierungsbedürftig und vernachlässigt. Die baulichen Zustände sind einfach nicht mehr akzeptabel.
