Basma is a beautiful hotel! Friendly staff and clean facility

Basic hotel. Good for price

Always nice to come back to this Hotel over the years. The location is amazing, and views are equally amazing. Food is very tasty particularly if you prefer Mediterranean diet. One issue is heating switch is manual not on a thermostat. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant.

Hotel needs a bit of update ,room doors especially who uses keys these days and the door lock is bit tricky Wifi only works in lobby but not any where else Positives :- good views of city

I liked how the hotel kept my stuff when I went out for my tour to Abu Simbel. I also really liked that when I went out for my tour, they gave me breakfast to have food in my system.

Two nights at Basma Hotel were like heaven. Room with balcony was spacious and comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was perfect. Atmosphere wonderful. My only regret is that I didn’t spend a week. Will definitely be back.

It was joy to stay here. The internet could be a bit better. The food and service was great

The property itself was pretty good. As the nights were cold, I wanted to use the heat in my room which didn't work. I informed the front desk and they were supposed to send maintenance to fix it. That never happened. Had to call at night after coming back from a trip. Maintenance guy shows up and tried to tell that there is no heater in any of the rooms. Took him to my friends nice toasty warm room and pointed out that heaters are part of the AC system. Dude looked at me completely bewildered and left...never saw him after that and never got my heat fixed.

Its was a good stay not excellent but the staff is excellent they were very helpful and any problem we faced they helped us with it
