Everything. Good air-conditioning, beautiful historic buildings and rooms with modern bathrooms. Plenty of room to place luggage, sit and relax. Facilities are shared with sister buildings and include a beautiful underground, indoor heated pool and spa, outdoor hot tubs, and beautiful panoramic views.

You had to book the spa in advance and the jacuzzis were separate from the main hotel.

Colazione non all’altezza di un 4*, e l’assenza di una spa interna, con la necessità di prenotarla in anticipo e presso un’altra struttura vicina non rendono fruibile il servizio. Colonnina di ricarica elettrica non funzionava

I want to be clear that this review reflects the behavior of a single male receptionist we encountered at check-in, the rest of the staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout our stay. On arrival, 45 minutes before the 2pm check-in time, this particular receptionist offered no greeting whatsoever and told us we could not wait in the lobby, directing us outside in 30°C heat. We weren’t asking for an early check-in , simply a friendly “welcome, your room will be ready shortly” would have been enough. It was an unnecessarily cold and unwelcoming start to what was otherwise a pleasant stay. To make matters worse, when my partner quietly remarked to another guest that the receptionist was perhaps having a bad day, he came downstairs and confronted my partner directly, demanding he say it to his face. What started as an unwelcoming interaction had now become an intimidating and threatening one. This level of conduct from a front-of-house employee is completely unacceptable and, frankly, alarming. We sincerely hope management addresses this, as it does not reflect the otherwise kind and accommodating team at this hotel.
