Beautiful hotel that’s eclectic and has incredible views from the breakfast area. Your staff are lovely and the rooms are very big.

The water leaking noises behind the wall. Your staff tried to rectify it but couldn’t.

Beautiful hotel - my 5th visit to Taormina and I have always stayed in different hotels. Hotel Villa Carlotta is my new favourite! Really welcoming staff both in reception and at the restaurant. Apartment was gorgeous and had everything we needed. Had a fantastic meal at the restaurant - what an absolutely stunning (and very romantic!) setting! Will definitely be back to visit again - hopefully for longer next time. Many thanks!! Christine & Jacques

La terraza maravillosa

Había que bajar muchas escaleras y no tenía desayuno y estaba un poco lejos de cafeterías

- Personeel heel vriendelijk - Goede locatie - Eigenzinnig maar mooi ingericht - Mooi ontbijt en prachtig uitzicht - Valet parking - mooi zwembad - Grote kamer en goede badkamer - Kluis en frigo - meerdere malen per dag op kamer om kamer te poetsen en op orde te leggen

- veel geluiden op kamer want keuken restaurant was boven kamer! - hadden meermaals hoekkamer gevraagd maar niet ontvangen - kamer nogal donker - leuk om 2 flessen water gratis te krijgen maar niet ok dat je moet bijbetalen als je nadien nog water wil. Voor de prijs dat wij betaald hebben, zou er elke dag nieuw gratis water op kamer moeten zijn, is toch minimum dat je van zo’n hotel kan verwachten - valet parking goed maar er is niet echt parkeerplaats voorzien dus wat gevaarlijk om daar uit te stappen of bagage in te laden met constante auto’s en bussen dat voorbijrijden - geen aparte producten voor douche - bodylotion en zeep werden ook niet aangevuld - ik was dag voor aankomst jarig, en maakte er grapje over in hotel maar niets van attentie voor verjaardag. Jammer - zijn gaan dineren in restaurant. Had pasta met scampi’s genomen. Scampi’s waren echt plat, totaal niet krokant. Kost was €35. Toen ik hier opmerking over maakte, hebben ze enkel gezegd: sorry we zullen het doorgeven aan de chef. Maar ook hier: als je zoveel voor een pasta betaalt en scampi’s zijn niet goed, mag er wel compensatie voorgesteld worden ipv enkel een sorry! - ontbijt: absoluut niet ok dat je moet bijbetalen voor bv een spiegelei of vers fruitsap! Dit zou standaard bij ontbijt moeten zitten. Ik kan dit enkel begrijpen als je iets heel speciaal voor ontbijt zou willen maar niet als je bv spiegelei of omelet met hesp en kaas vraagt!!! - ontbijt: laatste dag kwam er iemand in bikini ontbijten met volledig buik bloot zonder hier iets over. Dit wordt niet gedaan. We zijn niet op strand dus daar mocht wel iets op gezegd worden!

Our stay at the Carlotta was fantastic. Stefano, Federico and all the team we dealt with were super friendly, hospitable and extremely helpful. The hotel was quite central and not far to walk up to the centre of town. Slightly tricky location to park a car as the hotel is on a bend, however, the staff were very helpful and valet parking was arranged. Hotel facilities were great, including the pool and pool bar. The room was cozy and with the terrace attached gave us plenty of room. Finally, the restaurant upstairs which also serves breakfast has the most amazing panoramic view. The breakfast offering was delicious and good variety. The only negative is the restaurant is quite hot due to the summer weather and the aircon doesn’t seem to cool the space. Would highly recommend staying here.

NO MIRRORS IN THE ROOM only in bathroom .. v v annoying

The hotel is beautiful and in an amazing location — close to everything and with stunning views. However, we stayed in one of the villas that is separated from the main building, and unfortunately, accessing the main hotel facilities wasn’t very easy or comfortable. You need to walk along the main road to get there, which doesn’t feel very convenient. It would be great if there were a more comfortable or private way to access the main area.
