Leisure Inn Spires

The location was fabulous. Easy walking distance to great restaurants and the shops. The room was clean and a good size. The free washing was a bonus.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

Location was great for close to Blue Mountains and a nice walk to the main street of Leura. If coming by train to Leura then perfect across as the road. Room was tidy and minimal road noise.

Can hear doors slam everywhere as access is 2 doors and then when neighbouring units come and go you get door slams as they are not softclose type, even if you try to close quietly its not possible!

The room and the bathroom were very spacious. The room was quiet and comfortable. There was a small kitchenet, but it was efficient for my stay. the room had a great air conditioner, even an additional heater if it was needed A large wardrobe and an extra blanket as well. The inn is located just at the end of the shopping mall, so it was easy to get back with my shopping during the day and continue to enjoy the area, which is beautiful. The train station is just a minute away from the inn, so you do not have to carry your luggage too far.

A kitchen towel was not provided, so I could not dry the dishes I used for breakfast and an afternoon tea.

Location was fine for Leura Main Street. Apartment was spacious. Parking available, secure and free.

Apartment was in bottom building, dark and dingy. It was also cold. Kitchen wasn't clean, had to wash everything before use. Kitchen not well equipped, the usual odd plates and cutlery. Full dishwasher provided but only 3 mugs. Furniture very dated, worn and not clean. Dirty, blinds in bedroom with frayed cord. Bathroom had spa bath that clearly hadn't worked in a long time, rusty toilet roll holder, broken tiles on wall. Many similar comments over the last year or so and still the same complaints. Absolutely no 'required by law' smoke detector. Washing machine and dryer were so old, surprised they worked. People need to stop staying here so they take the comments seriously and change things. Balcony hadn't been cleaned, furniture old and rusty. We did not enjoy our stay.

Close to station. Spacious room. Good insulated windows so the train, although audible, wasn't loud or annoying and didn't wake me or disturb me in any way. Great hot water and water pressure. Not beautiful but practical and it was very clean.

Great location. Easy parking under building. Lady at reception really helpful.

No lift. Taking luggage to top floor was difficult. Didn’t like sharing the entry into the room with adjoining room.
