Hilton Garden Inn Columbia

The rooms where comfy. Had a good time at the pool.

The TV did not work in my room. The staff was not helpful, took them three additional hours to get my room ready when I arrived at the property. Also none of the exterior doors where unlocked inviting anyone in.

Great place for a visit to Columbia, MO. The HGI is not located in the downtown area but accessible. The rooms are standard for HGI as is the value per room to location. I think the friendly staff and service is the difference.

Our room #244 was very musty/ moldy smell. The top blankets were very worn and did not appear clean. Our room service took a long time and by the time we got our food, they sent the wrong salads.

This was a decent hotel HOWEVER they do NOT serve a self serve breakfast, as advertised. Everything is “made to order” even though they have “breakfast buffet” listed on their menu. For me, I do not have time to wait for them to cook items that would take 20 mins to receive. I have to eat and leave quickly. All of the other Hilton Garden Inns do the actual buffet except this one. I even spoke to the mgr about this yesterday and she assured me there would be a buffet for the next 2 days while I was here. Nope. There was nothing. Very disappointing. They really need to remove “breakfast buffet” since it’s now not any different than ordering food off of the menu. Very misleading

This hotel is a great hotel. Far enough off of the expressway that you don’t need to worry about highway noise. Great bartender and chef. Highly recommend this hotel. I stayed there on the way to and from my hunting trip in South Dakota.

Rooms in very bad shape. Furniture old , room very dated. Bathroom very dated. Charged for WiFi and bottles of water even though the price for the room was very high.

The parking lot was fair.

I could not sleep in room 106 due to the overwhelming mold/ mold smell in the room. The room had active moisture making even the bed sheet feel wet. I complained to the staff who said they would call me when management came it and they did not. I did not stay the second night and have no intention of paying for either day of my reservation.
