Flushing Central Hotel 88

The location was good. The staff could be more friendly and helpful.

Stayed for the US Open, which was super convenient for location. The hotel was less than desirable due to lack of cleanliness of the room. Found hairs on “clean” towels and rooms did not have a fridge or drawers to store clothes. I was traveling alone so this was fine but if I was traveling with my wife it would have been an issue. Overall I stayed for the location to the US Open. I only slept in the room and didn’t spend much time in there. I liked the TV with access to YouTube TV.

This property was not the best, it worked for the one night but definitely would not stay here again. The mattress was nonexistent, I could have slept on a hard floor and would have been more comfortable. The staff was ok, I had one problem. Once I checked out, I asked if they held luggage as it said they do, the guy said no. I was stunned, he then acted kinda like it was my fault but he then asked and was informed they do.

From the street level, walking down on stairs to the lobby with luggage is difficult for an elderly person
