Very clean and very courteous

Convenient location to Funeral Home.

There was black tar or something on one of the bedspreads and it was very obvious. Staff did give us a blanket to use instead.

Nothing to like! A FULL REFUND WOULD BE APPROPRIATE!

We liked nothing about this so called hotel! From the point of arrival to departure, we had the constant feeling of a poorly run hotel by people who simply didn’t care about the comfort of guests! The approach road around the entrance canopy was littered with rubbish from overflowing bins. The tatty bench seat outside the main entrance smelled of discarded cigarettes from an overflowing flower pot ashtray. There were rubbish bags located in visible areas that made the place look more like a cheap overnight hostel rather than somewhere to unwind after a day on the road! The so called “breakfast” had no right to be so called. Why? Simply no food left and what evidence of food existed amounted to dry crusty bits of stale egg stuck to empty trays. No bagels or other bread products and no bowls in which to place cereals. After, requesting replenishment, the staff member, who also appeared to me the apparent manager, really couldn’t be bothered to engage in conversation and just confirmed that the warm coffee was still half full! Finally, the bed base was designed for a King mattress but a Queen size was in situ. This resulted in the metal base to be exposed and the pillows to fall beneath the headboard and mattress. The base sheet had black and brown marks in several locations.

The night clerk did not greet us. The pool was freezing. The hot tub was lukewarm. There were no pool towels in the pool area. There was what appeared to be a broken heat/air unit against the wall in the pool area. There was damage to the wall in the bathroom and damage to the ceiling in the room. The WiFi was at one bar and kept dropping. This is supposed to be the best of the three motels in Iola. It's a sad reflection on the Wyndham brand.

Super 8 is the best place to stay in Iola. The rooms are clean and fresh. Carpets are freshly shampooed. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We didn't have enough towels.

I had the nicest recliner I have ever had while traveling

Everything was fine and comfortable and staff was really nice and helpful.

The place is getting old. Needs new carpet .
