Rumford Motor Inn

Had to go to front desk because key didn't work. They said pish the door hard. I did it didn't work. Went back got new key. I finally lay down after a long day of work turn the TV on an the screen was black but you could hear the TV. I go to desk to complain they kinda shooed me off. I slept wit light on all night

I do like the fact that this hotel still accommodates smokers.

The staff is very rude and treats guests like they don't really need them to make money I am a RI resident. I only opted to use booking for this property because every time I go to the rumford motor inn they attempt to charge me a different rate. I've gone in this place without a booking from booking.com many, many times. I always ask how much first. This is because I have been quoted absolutely ridiculous numbers for one night stay on several different occasions. When the management's kids quote me a price it's usually 113-145 dollars per night. When regular staff quote a price or management themselves it's always 113-125 After speaking with other guests I find out they are paying far less than I was. Every guest I spoke with was talking 87-96 dollars per night. So I ask for that price and got denied. Hence why I now use booking to stay at the fumford motor inn. It does appear to me like the people at the windows just charge whatever the hell they want to charge and pocket the difference as a "tip" I even went there once and was charged 26 dollars more than the original quote, when I asked for a receipt because I was paying cash, they said they were out of paper.

I liked everything about it

I didn't really like anything about it when I first went to check in there was a young man behind the corner I'd say probably between the ages of 18 and 21 he didn't even know how much the room cost he was on the phone with somebody the entire time I was checking in I ended up getting charged more for this room than I would have if I went to the Holiday Inn. As far as clemenisco's there was actual feces on the outside of the toilet there were pubic hairs in the bed which led me to believe the sheets We're not even washed . I had to listen to people argue and slam doors across the hall for me at 2 in the morning to block them out I turned my TV up loud twenty minutes laterSomebody was banging on my door it was the man in the room next to me complaining about my televisionwhich I don't know how he complained about that but not the couple fighting. To top this off I had already rented the room for another night the the owner actually came to speak with me and tell me if my TV was up that loud again I would be forced to leave my money would not be returned and he would call the police on me I was absolutely in shock. The next morning while I was checking out I Admittedly was 10 Minutes late he came and pounded on my door and told me if I didn't leave immediately again he would call the police on me. I told him that would definitely not be necessary I was leaving right then my bags were already out the front door because this room had 2 doors and he was banging on the back and I'd put my stuff Out the front I told him I didn't meet him at the office in 1 minute. He must have assumed because I said I would meet him at the office I was going to ask for the room again never again you couldn't pay me enough money.

Every single solitary part of the experience

I actually paid for this room and didn’t stay. My son and I didn’t feel safe at all and the place was VERY filthy. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
