Place and cleanliness

There was a problem with transportation. The hotel is poorly connected to the public network, and you need to use taxis but taxis. Taxis are not always honest, and the staff of the hotel seems to be more sympathetic to taxis drivers than to their customers. Several episodes during my 2 night stay, but I report only one - a taxi arrived to the hotel with already 17 something euros on the meter and the hotel staff said this was OK.

Great location , with a great view. Rooms a comfortable, and they provide little extras to make your stay feel special. Staff is amazing!

Das Rauschen des Meeres zu hören (es war ein etwas windiger Tag)

Das Hotel liegt zwar an der Strandpromenade, ist aber umgeben von Abrisshäusern aus den 70er Jahren mit Sozialwohnungen. Die Gegend ist, besonders abends und in der Nacht nicht für Alleinreisende zu empfehlen. Es gibt nicht nur soziale Spannungen und Proteste dort, auch insgesamt ist das ganze Viertel ebenso wie der "Stadthafen Roms" sehr heruntergekommen. Der Strand selbst ist an dieser Stelle extrem vermüllt und sehr schmal (~ 8 bis 10m). Das Hotel selbst ist auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Unser Zimmer (nach hinten raus gelegen) hatte zwar einen Balkon aber der war defacto nicht benutzbar, da man quasi halb im Abrisshaus von Gegenüber sitzt (Abstand ca. 10m). Das Zimmer selbst war sehr klein und die Möblierung unvollständig. Die Sauberkeit war aber gegeben. Das Personal war freundlich.

wunderschöne Lage direkt am Meer, verschiedene leckere Kuchen am Morgen, freundliches Personal.

Das Zimmer entsprach nicht 4 Stern.
