Fiordland Lodge

A wonderful location with staff that tries hard. Only would suggest more investment in WiFi and assuring adequate staffing in the kitchen. Dinners were lovely but took too long.

The view was priceless and the meals (dinner and breakfast) was fabulous. Definetly 5 star standard..I would give it 6 stars. The dinner was on par with any restaurant that have an average of $100 per person meal. And the breakfast was an absolute delight. If we ever go back to Fiordland, we would stay here again. I did feel a bit out of place since we were probably the youngest couple there. But nonetheless, the staff has made us feel welcomed. Afterwards we booked a 1.5hr helicopter tour to doubtful & dusty sound and the helicopter picked us up right in the lodge’s backyard. That was just awesome. Unfortunatley, that night, the sky was cloudy, so we didnt have a starry night that my wife wanted to stare at, but this has nothing to do with the accommodations. They also have a small dog that runs around the outside of the lodge. I have some phobic fear of any dogs, but this one was quite cute and made me feel comfortable.

Endroit magique et magnifique! Le personnel est adorable, le restaurant est excellent! Le dîner et le petit-déjeuner sont copieux et les meilleurs! Les excursions sont facilement réalisables de l’hôtel.

We had an amazing time at Fiordland lodge. The staff was incredibly helpful, food was great, and the area amazing. We took a helicopter from the lawn and went walking on the Kepler track. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We were convinced there is no better place to stay in New Zealand! The accommodations at Fiordland Lodge are incredible as is the service and staff. The lodge is beautiful and peaceful, and the meals were the among the best that we had on our entire trip to New Zealand. We had no idea that meals included in a stay could be so fabulous. The wine selection was superb as well. If you are looking to stay in the area for a few days or just passing through for a night, you must stay here! There is simply no where else of this caliber in the area - we were blown away by the experience. The team at Fiordland Lodge is the absolute best!

What a wonderful place to stay. It was amazing location with such a scenic outlook. The rooms in the lodge were really luxurious and the people so very friendly and helpful. Food was inclusive and excellent.

The view of this hotel is best. You will not forget that. The dinner is usually included and very delicious.

The wifi is slow.
