The location is awesome with great western views. The staff treated us like royalty😊 The included breakfast was hearty with added touches. Specialty juices. Dinner was an add in but start with drinks and canapés. Excellent food right on site. Nice at the end of a long hiking day

Amazing staff and super helpful- shout outs to James, Jimmy and Haley - all of whom were super helpful and offered great service. Incredible views and we loved the lodge feel.

For two consecutive nights, the main dinner service was cold and disappointing - guys use your abundant range of amazing local produce - go back to basics and let the food talk for itself without an array of over engineered and conflicting sauces and flavours - and serve it hot ! The wine menu lacked range and options ... unless you wanted a pay incredible price for a small selection of NZ pinots there was a lack of options especially appreciating the range of international travellers. Lastly, our room was heavy with dust and needed a proper clean - my wife sneezed her way through the stay and took away from our experience .. (.. and sleep ). I give this feedback to help in making a great lodge and team to be better - you have something special but you're missing a few key elements...

The property is gorgeous and the upstairs game room was so much fun to view. It really was like your own private slice of paradise. My partner and I enjoyed our stay there.

Pre dinner canapés, antler robe hooks in bathroom, coffee machine in cabin, decor, view.

It would have been nice to see deer close to accommodation or an opportunity to feed the deer.
