The Hill Hotel at Flúðir

L'emplacement est très bien pour partir à la découverte du cercle d'or. Le personnel est avenant, la chambre spacieuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est bien fourni. Parfait pour une nuit.

Attention, le carrelage de la douche est glissant et une chute pourrait vite arriver. Des tentures plus épaisses seraient appréciables pour occulter davantage la luminosité matinale.

L’emplacement, l’espace extérieur avec accès direct sur le jardin et les jacouzi, le souci de déco à l accueil et au bar, le calme.

The Hill Hotel at Flúðir offers a pleasant stay with nicely updated interiors and a modern feel. While the rooms are comfortable, I found the bathroom design a bit impractical; despite the partition, the floor tended to get quite wet during showers. Additionally, while the hotel is well-positioned for exploring the Golden Circle, it is a bit isolated from amenities. The nearest major town with grocery stores is Selfoss, about a 30-minute drive away, so I’d recommend stocking up before you arrive.

One minor drawback was the bathroom design. Even with the partition in place, the floor tended to get quite wet during showers, which made the space a bit difficult to manage. It's a small detail, but it stood out compared to the otherwise nicely updated interior.
