3HB Clube Humbria - All Inclusive

We had a nice short stay in Portugal at the 3HB Clube Humbria. The weather wasn’t the best and as a result, the pool was freezing but the entertainment staff really tried their best to keep everyone entertained during the day. From check in to bar staff to the restaurant to cleaning, the staff and service was exceptional throughout. I must admit, I have stayed in much better 4-star hotels over the years that have had more to offer in the way of facilities. My shower wasn’t working on day 1 but that was fixed the same day and we had no issues since. I asked twice if I could get some ironing done and was told both times that I needed to go and do it myself in the self service laundry room, despite finding a price list for ironing at the hotel. The multi-sports court had to be booked around 8am for the following day otherwise all the slots got booked up fast. It would be an idea to open the court for everyone to utilise on an evening. It would have saved the older kids staying at the hotel constantly getting told off by security for playing football as a group elsewhere on the hotel grounds. A small shop selling essentials and holiday items would have been ideal as the nearest shop was a short walk away. The games room is tired with very old arcade video games. The grounds were immaculate and were being constantly cleaned and maintained. Rooms were large and clean and have excellent apartment like facilities, especially if travelling with babies or young children. We had regular calls from reception asking how things were and if we were happy with our stay. We didn’t really make much use of the evening entertainment but it looked to be every night and varied. The food was decent and a lot of variety. My fussy 9 year old was always able to find something to eat and made full use of the snack bar when peckish. No alternative restaurants other than the main dining buffet restaurant & pool/snack bar. Overall, a nice stay but I’m not sure we would return again in April if at all but it may have been a totally different experience if the weather was better.

We stayed here as part of a Jet2 package holiday. We stayed for 7 nights at the beginning of April. We were very lucky with the weather as it was around 22C everyday with beautiful blue skies. Overall, we loved our holiday and would recommend this hotel to other families. The apartment was very spacious and easy to keep cool when needed with the aircon. The beds were made everyday and floors cleaned. We all appreciated that the kids had their own separate beds and the adults had a separate bedroom. Ideally, we wouldn't have had 2 singles together for the double/kingsize bed, but it was very spacious and we still slept well with good black out curtains. One of our children has eczema and didn't get on well with the perfumed sheets. Although they were happy to re-wash these, it didn't get rid of the smell, so in future we would bring our own bedding for her (which would be quite easy with generous Jet2 baggage allowance). It's true that the pool was cold, but that meant I could have a bracing swim in the huge pool with hardly anyone else in it at times. The kids didn't care and felt it was warm after they'd spent ages on the aqua slides, which were a massive highlight. As we were there in April and I imagine it's super hot in summer, I could understand that the pool wasn't heated. They made nice friends at the slides and so had company for the holiday. There was some nice entertainment. There was a kahoot quiz each day - nice for our kids aged 10 and 13, and they also joined in with archery, darts and other simple games at the 'teens' club, after they figured out when and where to go for these. The magic show was great. Sarah, one of the activities hosts was super helpful and warm. I did a yoga class with her on one day. The food was awesome. Massive chunks of fruit, great fish, lots of salad, and also all the stuff to keep kids happy - pizza, pasta, chips. And that is just a really small list of what was available. You could really tailor the food to your taste. Serving staff replaced all food as soon as it was getting low and were very attentive. It's true from other reviews that one of the barman didn't smile very much but the unlimited cocktails, mocktails, slushies and hot chocolates kept us very happy. The snack bar was open from 12 to dinner time, serving pizza slices, chips, biscuits, cake etc, so the kids had fun with that and we were never hungry. I basically had the laziest holiday reading on a lounger all day, and occasionally walking down to the little souvenir shops and gorgeous never-ending Falesia beach. Also, I loved all the beautiful tropical trees, flowers and romantic orange cliffs. If I was more organised, I might have arranged a boat trip to see the dolphins, but I didn't get round to this. We were there over Easter and took some eggs on the plane but we needn't have bothered as there was an easter egg hunt and all the kids got a nice chocolate egg, plus there were enough desserts at the buffet to make up for not having easter eggs from home. At the moment, the security at Faro airport is not great and we had to wait for 2 hours in a queue due to fingerprinting. Luckily the jet2 bus waited and then the trip to the hotel felt quick e.g. 30/40 mins and then luckily lunch was served until 2.30pm, so we didn't miss out. My husband used the simple gym everyday. And the kids went to the teens room on the final day when there was a bit of rain, which had video games, mini pool and mini football table.

We visited for one week from 22nd March. This was our second visit to this amazing place and it did not dissappoint! The weather was amazing for our entire stay with warm sunny days in the low 20's and no rain 🌞 Everyone that we encountered were so friendly and welcoming from reception, bars, restaurant, housekeeping and entertainment team. Nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel like part of the 3HB family from the minute we arrived and were treated like absolute rock stars! 😍 Apartments are spacious, clean and well equipped including complimetary toiletries. We emailed ahead to request the same apartment that we had last year and this was honoured with no problems at all. All public area's are kept so spotlessly clean, The large pool area is amazing with plenty of sunbeds to chose from. All inclusive is amazing - great variety of drinks and cocktails to chose from, amazing snack bar with a great variety of snacks being served throughout the day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style with plenty of variety to chose from and probably the best all inclusive buffet food that we have ever experienced with themed evenings and special lunchtime events such as outdoor BBQ and paella. The entertainment team were the absolute best, providing a good variety of daytime activities to keep both adults and children entertained. Evening entertainment was great with a fab 80's band, neon party, circus night etc. Big shout out to Sarah and the team for keeping us so entertained! I celebrated my birthday during our stay and the hotel team made me feel so very special. We came back to our apartment to find a lovely card and message with a bottle of bubbly popped in to our fridge for us to enjoy. The local area has shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep, with a 10 minute walk down to the beach. We visited Villamoura and Albufeira old town during our stay, Uber taxi's are very speedy, reliable and very reasonably priced. Our trip to Villamoura was roughly £8 each way and our trip to Albufeira only £5 each way. Thankyou once again 3HB Clube Humbria, I was so sad when i had to leave. We have had the absolute best time, and we can not wait to return back to our 3HB family again next year 😎

This was our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff and good food. My 6 year old loved kids club and wanted to stay longer. Special thanks to Mariana and Giovana in kids club who made his time so fun.

Went to celebrate my 70th birthday with family. The hotel is excellent, clean and most of the staff are very friendly. One of the staff, Dina at the dining hall door was very rude to us. As I was celebrating my 70th my brother flew over from UK to give me a surprise. The other members of the group had already arranged for his arrival and payment with the reception but Dina did not bother to check with reception about the arrangements and was rude to him and would not allow him in the dining hall. I had to complain about her to her senior management. Water fountains are just located around the reception, the snack bar and in the dining hall areas. These should be located on every floor of the building where the apartments are. There were families with small children in the hotel and generally we were struggling to remember to bring our water bottles down to refill. It would be very difficult to come out to the reception area to refill in the middle of the night. The guy at the bar did not smile when serving. Tea, coffee, milk etc are all located separately in different areas of the dining hall so the hot drink would get cold by the time you came back to your table. Chef cooking eggs does not know customer service. Does not smile when serving and slaps fried eggs on your plate. The hotel does not make omelettes.

O Staff foi muito atencioso, os espaços de comida e bebida bem distribuídos, expandiria no entanto o horário dos "snacks" do bar de apoio à piscina para iniciar ao fecho da hora do pequeno almoço.

A temperatura na piscina (muito fria), principalmente nesta altura do ano, não permitiu que a estadia fosse perfeita, pois gostaríamos de ter usado muito mais do que conseguimos, infelizmente.
