Hacienda Tres Lagos

Recepcionados por Margarita y Alexandra. Y Flor en el restaurante. Atención de cocina muy lenta pero simpática. Y en el baño hay un tacho para tirar todos los papeles porque tienen tratamiento particular ecológico de las aguas servidas. La hacienda, es un oasis en la zona. Volveré sin duda

Le faltaría una mesa con silla y un espejo de cuerpo completo, en el dormitorio. Y que haya camino pavimentado plano para llegar al dormitorio con las valijas. Fuimos ayudados, ergo, se resolvió

Facilities algo descuidadas, desayuno con cosas añejas (pan duro, jugo aguado, quesillo con olo)

The breakfast was nice and we were able to use the sauna. The dinner menu was varied and service was welcoming. We were provided with guidance, and staff of this hotel seemed generally very nice.

Other facilities had issues. The game room was very dusty (ping pong table), the pier was dilapidated and partly immersed in water, there was even a sunk boat next to it. One of the saunas was broken. In general, the hotel seemed quite outdated and gave off a depressing vibe. The fishing tour was not possible because their van was apparently broken. The worst part, however, was the fecal/sewage smell of the tap water and filtered water once it reached room temperature. It was a completely revolting experience. I don't know if this is a sewage maintenance issue, but this completely ruined our stay and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as such. I think it had a lot of potential, but is sadly under-maintained. This was one of the most disappointing stays ever.

This hotel is located in a beautiful location. The views over the lake were delightful. Breakfast was very nice. The staff, Belen, in particular went above and beyond. She could not have been more helpful or kind and for this she really made our stay enjoyable.

Our room (in the main house) was very nice but it was above the restaurant so would be noisy. It would really benefit from having a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. The balconies were lovely and some furniture in the front balcony would be good. Appreciate that it was early in the season so this may arrive later. The shower in the bath was particularly difficult to access. This would benefit from having a modern walk in shower. Some comfortable chairs would also be a welcome addition instead of the current uncomfortable ones by the rear balcony door. No television. With Starlink now readily available, it would benefit from having TVs in the rooms. Being early in the season with no other guests, the hotel was a bit soulless. With no TV, some board games would be good, chess, draughts, perudo etc.
