L’emplacement était très bien. Situé en centre-ville à quelques pas de la gare pour pouvoir visiter la région c’est idéal. Le personnel est très accueillant

My partner and I normally stay here once or twice a year on our travels in France because the hotel is very well situated, centrally located, and has a secure car park ( for which you pay extra). It is clean & comfortable.

On this occasion, we had a bad experience at this hotel. We had informed the hotel by txt that we wanted to use their car park, and they had replied that it would be OK, although they didn't, reserve spaces. We were happy with that. On arrival in Chartres, we discovered that all the roads around the hotel were blocked off due to a big pilgrimage event. It was over 30° heat, we drove round in circles, trying to get to the hotel. There were many road blocks & we couldn't find a way through. In the end, we had to carry our belongings from a public car park. We finally arrived exhausted and overheated. We are aged 70 & 80 years. At the hotel, two reception staff were unapologetic , unsympathetic & disinterested. We politely said, we would have expected them to warn us of the access to the hotel problem in advance, and to offer advice. I even thought we might get some kind words and a cold drink. Nothing!! The reception staff need training on customer service. Secondly, the price was high for a Bank holiday Monday night. Especially, as we couldn't use the car park. Thirdly, you still only get one hand towel here. I have raised this before. All in all, an unsatisfactory experience this time Fourthly, the bedside lights didn't work
