The food was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful, location is ideal for things to do in Daintree.

The lodges need a bit of an update, tired looking and the pool area needs better access and a good tidy up

Swimming hole on the property was very special

If you would like to disconnect and be with nature - stay in this lodge. There is no mobile signal or wifi in the room. The TV only works with a dvd player but they have plenty of dvds to borrow. It was actually good for our family, we got to spend time together, watched some old movies and played board games. I mamaged to read a book. We had a dip in the resort's creek. There are 2 freshwater creek swimming spots at the property. Breakfast was just cereal, bread, fruits, coffee and tea but you can order hot breakfast for extra $. They have limited lunch and dinner menus. The staff are helpful and accommodating. Expect rain and dampness as you will be in the rainforest. The property is dated, needs a lot of TLC but we did not mind. You can hear other people from other cabins but usually quiet at night. We rewarded ourselves with ice cream at the Daintree Ice Cream company after our walks. We did walks in Cape Tribulation, saw a cassowary in one of our walks, also visited beaches nearby.

Great location. Restaurant on site. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and well maintained.

The rooms were not very soundproof so having people next door who were very noisy late at night was a little annoying
