Relais Villa Pomela

It's a true palace with a luxurious interior. I wanted to take in every detail. At dawn, the birds were singing at the top of their lungs. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. The service is excellent. The restaurant isn't cheap, and the portions are small, but it's not a pizzeria. The food is delicious, and the presentation and service are beautiful. There's billiards and a bar. The pool was still closed because it was still cold. This is a place the owners themselves love...and it shows in the little details.

The hotel looks beautiful, like something out of a fairytale, and the location is lovely — but that’s where the positives end.

You can clearly hear noise from the neighboring rooms, and the electrical sockets are old and only suitable for Italian plugs, which is inconvenient for international guests. Breakfast was very poor and extremely basic. The cherry on top: I was charged extra for 4 fried eggs ordered at breakfast — something I have never experienced at any hotel before. Beautiful on the outside, disappointing on the inside.
