Spark by Hilton Grand Island

When we got to our room we noticed a puddle of water in the bathroom on the vanity. Turns out the room above us had a toilet leaking. They did get a repair man in to fix it, but that was a rocky start. The breakfasts were great. The beds and pillows were very comfy.

Room has ashes in the window sill, and window opens. Should be labeled a smoking room.

They canceled my reservation and then wanted to charge 2 times as much to stay

Location is good and the price was very reasonable

The room was very dusty. The bathroom still had pink cleaner on the back of the toilet and I could see something that had dripped down the front of the bowl of the toiletst. The tub had rust on it and there was obviously a clog in the drain as I was standing in at least 4 inches of water the whole time I was taking a shower. They ceiling had some major water damage as well. The sink was not clean and the floor had red stains.

Pool and got tub were out of commission but online said they had them, which is extremely disappointing as we had younger children who were excited to swim. I was told one thing about price but then given another, almost double for the one night vs what I was told and when I brought this to their attention I was literally told "she lied to you". I am not sure if they just hadn't checked but half the breakfast items were empty. For 320 I would expect more.. a lot more.

We arrived and our door would not latch and was left open. Talked to the front desk to be moved to a room with a secured door but they said they were booked up. Mind you it was only 3pm. Lucky the maintenance man was in the parking lot and fixed the issue. He was great but the front desk kid was not. Beds were comfortable. Shower had rust and was run down.

Clean and bright room. Good layout with plenty of counter space in the bathroom.
