Very outdated Hampton smallest room ever for a Hampton. No snack room with ice cream , candy or alcoholic beverages, or non alcoholic beverages available. Guest laundry soap and softener dispenser out of order. Felt like a n old remodel of a motel 6

Unfortunate experience of staying at a hotel that, despite its name, offered a far cry from the Hilton experience I was expecting. While the TripAdvisor reviews boasted a 4.5-star average, my stay fell significantly short of that mark, leaving me feeling disappointed and frustrated. The first red flag was the hefty price tag. At $180 a night plus tax, the cost was more in line with a luxurious Hilton stay than the budget-friendly Motel 6 experience I received. Upon arrival, the signs of wear and tear were evident. The escalator creaked ominously, and my room door wouldn't shut properly, raising concerns about security and privacy. To add insult to injury, the air conditioning in my initial room was malfunctioning, forcing me to request a room change. Even after the switch, the overall impression remained one of neglect and lack of upkeep. The stark contrast to the usual Hilton standard was undeniable. Adding to my disappointment was the lack of customary amenities. Unlike my previous Hilton stays, I was not offered the choice of water/snacks or bonus points, further emphasizing the discrepancy between the advertised experience and reality. There are better options in Grand Island.

Average, but should have been above average for the premium rate Hampton Inn demands. While traveling recently, we stayed in four Hilton properties. This Hampton in Grand Island was not up to standards. The front desk was often unattended and cleanliness was noticeably lacking. While the breakfast was okay for a hotel breakfast, we couldn't help but notice that the breakfast cook/attendant at the Rock Springs, WY Hampton was so friendly and engaging and checked to see if we needed anything, and the cook/attendant in Grand Island was just the opposite, although efficient. On our next pass through the area, we'll find less expensive options that offer the same or better accommodations.

I love Hampton hotels and this is by far the worst one I have ever stayed in. Don’t get me wrong, the staff was very kind and helpful. However the rooms were the smallest Hampton rooms I have ever seen and very run down. I was not impressed.

Breakfast was a little lack luster but otherwise a good stay

This may be the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in. I will add some photos of what they considered an acceptible room. When we first walked into our room, we noticed that it smelled. The furniture looked as if it had been purchased at a garage sale, the bathroom was a total mess. (See photos.) There were blue spots on the bathroom walls which I was able to wipe off. No one on staff apparently thought to do it. It looked like toothpaste spatter. The mirror was a complete wreck, and the vanity looked as if it had been dragged through the parking lot. I went down to the desk to ask to see another room and was ushered into another room, which also smelled. So, we had to stay where we were. I'm not sure which rooms some of the other photos posted from this hotel came from, but our room was an insult. I emailed the hotel owners and have heard nothing from them. I was never so glad to leave a hotel. My advice is to choose somewhere else to stay. Oh, and there was a giant bug flying in and out of the drapery and landing on the walls, etc., until we killed it. This place was just beyond belief. I previously submitted a review for this hotel, and it seems to have disappeared, never having been posted by this site. So, I'll try again.

The bottom of the toilet is leaking and the bathroom door wouldn’t open all the way

For the area this is a nice hotel. The staff was pleasant and happy to help. It is starting to be a bit worn out. Lobby has been updated and is nice. The rooms are definitely showing their age. The bathroom is dated, but had a Wonderful shower! Breakfast was decent and plentiful.
