Fairfield Inn Sacramento Cal Expo

If you are planning to stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott, please note that the hotel appears to be a bit older and the noise/sound controls that seem to be present in newer hotels are not built in to the Fairfield. Noise travels quite a bit and we were able to hear the next room talking, the television and the music (unfortunately at 3am). We called the front desk to see if they could ask the room to reduce the noise and the lady we spoke with was very accomodating and the music was turned off almost immediately. I have no issues with the service but it just seemed the hotel does not have some of the modern 'noise cancelling' controls in place. There is another Marriott property in the same location so perhaps it might be a better option if location is a deciding factor.

The front desk clerk Alejandra was amazing, she was helpful and polite. She made sure we had everything we needed after a long day.

The staff was great. The place itself needs better cleaning

My stay was good. But the first day I was there about 10 cop cars showed up. They didn’t give a parking pass my first. My car could have been tow away

The room was spacious; the bedding was comfortable; everything was nice and clean; the breakfast was great; the employees were friendly and helpful; the WiFi and television worked great and in summary, staying there was a very pleasant experience. We will definitely consider staying there if we visit Sacramento in the future and will also be recommending it.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

I had such a welcome feeling while staying at this Fairfield Inn. I have stayed at 3others in different states but this was the nicest by far! The staff was so warm, friendly and helpful-everyone at the front desk, in the breakfast room and the room cleaning staff as well. It really was homey in the nicest sense of the word. And, so lovely and quiet. I will definitely return at the next opportunity.

The workout room was very small and was locked until 6:00 am. It is unmanned, so I don't know why this is necessary. Also, the internet did not work the whole time I was there - 3 days. The room was nice, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good, though.

Dated hotel, also parking is not free.

I enjoyed room 201. Next to the stairs so my loud girlfriend wasnt an issue. 🤣 ❤️‍🔥

The nice lady at the front desk was awesome! Super friendly and warm and made our stay so much better. I will come back.
