The Katikies property is a beautiful one, although still under a lot of construction. We did get a room upgrade but had issues with our room including jacuzzi heater not working the first 2 nights and refrigerator not working the first 2 and a half. Our wine was hot the entire trip bc of it. While views were breathtaking, we didn’t experience the best service for a 5 star hotel. Had to repeat our breakfast, dinner and drink orders 2-3 times and this is not a joke. Some of the items we ordered didn’t even come out at times. Drinks would come 15-20 mins after we ordered and one even came out with a hair and we had to send it back. While it is off season, we just expected for it to be a bit secluded and in turn we could get better service but that was contrary to what happened. Even the 2-3 times we went to the front desk, we were told to wait on them even though there were 4-5 staff members in the room. Not sure if only 1-2 could answer the questions but it wasn’t very organized or professional.
