Plenty food but slow at getting topped up, our Wednesday Chef was snapping at Kitchen staff trying to help, but after all there was two buses most days plus tourists. Lovely views of mountains from Dining room.

Painter was busy in rooms but it's a pity he couldn't touch up rooms like ours that had paintwork needing touches up.under sink.

The breakfast and evening meal were excellent and all the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. Great location. Will stay again; when in the area.

Reception staff are most helpful, friendly and personable. They like dogs! Our shower was seperate from the toilet and handwash basin - an excellent arrangement, and was brilliantly poweful anf controllable. The seabass in capers sauce dish I had for dinner was excellent.

Bar area is utterly characterless and might be the same as it was in 1975 when I lived in Arrochar! Bar had a laughingly poor choice of beers. Not even the, virtually ubiquitous in Scotland, Tennents Lager! Our bedroom was only superficially clean - cleaners clearly hadn't looked behind the doors of room and toilet, perhaps for many months. There was only one bedside lamp in our room - it didn't work!

Poor selection of foods for breakfast .1 st morning no sausages.it was only halfway through service time.2nd morning.no orange juice.no cups. No fried eggs on selection only scrambled.we asked for some on both mornings which we waited a while for.other guests saw them and wondered why we had got them.we stayed st a bespoke hotel in firt william fir 2 dsys previous to this one and they had fried eggs in a tin tray on the hotplate which you would expect on the breakfast buffet. I put this suggestion on paper and left it with the receptionist to pass on for consideration. Both bespoke hotels didnt have any fresh fruit available either.quite disappointing.

Drinks were very expensive My partner cut his hand on a broken nail/screw that was in a banister in the lounge area

Lovely location great value for money and good food.

Rooms are a little dated, no air in rooms. However, reception were happy to issue us with a fan which helped.
