Continental Inn

The shower jetted like a water cannon, the tub flooded when showering, the toilet had a small leak, the floors and chairs were stained and heavily worn. The walls were dirty. We had to ask for the heat breaker to be turned on. The air conditioner you could see daylight around it. There was no stopper in the sink drain and the bed was hard as a rock. The place was noisy as it appeared to have a permanent residents with three dogs. They were constantly yelling and drinking. Someone in the area lit off fireworks everynight til 11pm and between the traffic and that, it was noisy. Checked out breakfast, then went to mcdonalds. We had to up at 4am to go to a job site, and with no running water or bathroom, we would have rather stayed there. There is also an auyo body shop right next to buy on property so you have to deal with that also. We wont be staying again.

Convenient location, close to the bridge. Many options for meals and walkable to downtown area and beach. Friendly staff and a nice breakfast.

Great stay. Continental breakfast was good. Coffee was better than many smaller motel/hotels. Friendly staff.

The wifi was very fast and the TV was amazing.

Stayed here several times in the last year. The issue is some beds and rooms are better than others. This stay room 207 the bed and pillows were extremely hard. The shower head is at shoulder height, the desk has no room to do your paperwork after a long day of work. If you are looking for something comfortable it's probably better to stay in Mackinaw City and drive the extra distance. I travel for work and stay in 40 to 50 hotels a year. This is the worst bed and pillows of any hotel I have stayed in. If you want a good nights rest this is probably not where you want to go.

This stay was great. The air conditioner didn't seem to cool the room as much as it should have I think. Everything else was great

This property could use a lot TLC and updating. I would not recommend for the price. It seemed clean but the entire place could use repairs and updating so the poor condition made it feel a bit unclean and unkept. Extremely overpriced for the state of the property. Check in was easy. The location is convenient to the downtown area.

There was a recent storm so the pop machine broken, the cold water in shower , the bedroom lights and tv not working , and the old key for door might be explained

In their defense this property just opened for the season. Staff was hard to communicate with and was always hard to find. The television did not work. We checked out early and went to our next destination.

We were there yesterday. The motel is being upgraded but there are many rooms available. The owner is very nice and accommodating. Yes, it’s an older motel, but it is one of the cleanest places to stay. The king size bed was very comfortable We stayed on the first floor so we wouldn’t have to walk the stairs as we brought our little dog. Easier for all the times needed to take her outside. Very quiet at night even though near a main road. Close walk to town. Too cold to check out the outdoor pool. Would definitely stay here again while in the area.
