Hotel Restaurant Adria - Stuben

This hotel is 6km from the city centre, and the bus only travels once per hour. The bus is fairly expensive - €3.10 each way. The hotel is at the top of a hill, and our room was at the front, so traffic noise was constant and fairly noisy. There is a nice beer garden at the back of the hotel, and the owners were kind about letting us keep our rental bikes there. The first day we were asked what time we would like to have breakfast, 8,9 or 10 and we said 8, but the hot plates with eggs were always empty by the time we got to the breakfast room. There are very few services in the area for walkers.

Really genuine people running this hotel. Very pleasant and felt like staying at a friend's house. Attached restaurant is very tasty (I recommend the goulash soup). Breakfast is the standard we found across Germany, bread, cheese and coldcuts. Free parking is a plus

This was a very positive surprise I had in a recent trip to Germany. The hotel is very close (about 3 km) to Koblenz, in a small town. The room was very clean and quiet, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast quite good. Overall, an excellent choice that I would highly recommend.

After breakfast they closed on tuesdays and the evening menu was fairly limited unless you liked pork.Rooms were small and there was 38 steps to get to the room.A lot of one nighters as well

We had a most enjoyable stay in this charming local hotel. friendly and helpful staff, good food and a large clean room. We could not fault it.

ON ARRIVAL WAS MET BY LANDLADY WHO WAS AS HELPFUL AS SHE COULD BE OWING TO THE LACK OF ENGLISH AND OUR LACK OF GERMAN WE WERE SHOW OUR ROOMS TWO DOUBLE AND ON ENTRY TO THE STAIRWAY WE WERE MET BY A HORRIBLE SMELL. IN THE ROOMS IT WAS NICE AND ROOMY BUT NO TEA MAKING MACHINE WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US ENGLISH. SO AFTER A LONG TRIP INTO THE SHOWER ONLY LUKE WARM WATER THIS DID NOT IMPROVE OVER NIGHT AND ANOTHER COLD SHOWER WAS HAD BY ALL. AFTER FIGHTING OFF THREE VERY LARGE HORNETS WE HAD A REASONABLE NIGHT THEN AT SIX IN THE MORNING WE WERE AWOKE BY A RADIO FOR FIVE MINUTES THEN WE JUST GOT OFF TO SLEEP AGAIN AND THE ROAD WORKERS DECIDED TO RE LAY THE ROAD (NOT THE HOTELS FAULT I KNOW). AFTER ASKING FOR CERTAIN ITEMS THAT WERE MISSING AT BREAKFAST WE HAD A GOOD MEAL.

A comfortable, friendly base from which to explore Koblenz and the surrounding areas. Very friendly and helpful staff, plenty of good value for money food and wine served in their own restaurant, although the vegetables were not fresh which let it down slightly

Nice hotel, very good service and excellent food. The only negative thing was that it was a bit hard to find.
