The Old Manor Hotel

What a gem. We had two large, comfortable rooms with balconies overlooking the sea on a lovely sunny day. The bar staff kept the drinks and the local info flowing, and the lovely beach at Largo was a short stroll away. All dog-friendly too.

4 star? More like 2. Checking in was like something from a horror movie - drab and oppressing. Room tired and never seen a TV that small. Bathroom held together with silicone and tile grout all black and orange. Woman who served us breakfast was amazing though! Breakfast food was terrible.

Spur of the moment booking and chosen more for it being the only nice option in the area I wanted to stay in. This website offered the option of a room with a king bed or two queen beds, chose the king but on arrival was informed that no such thing existed. The two queens were comfy but bit weird for a romantic trip, you're either squeezed in one bed which feels too small, or it feels like you're miles apart in separate beds. The room was freezing cold on arrival, the windows were open and we couldn't get the heating on. Had to call reception to get them to switch it on, after a couple hours it was ok. Had to order breakfast the night before and choose a time to eat it, to help them manage in pandemic times. Nice view over golf course and sea, short walk to the beach over the course. Dinner was nice, generous portions but the forgot a drinks order and it still got added to the bill. Would stay again if in the area i think, but wouldn't make it a destination stay.

Incredible view of the sea including the bass rock from our balcony - we lucked out with beautiful sunny weather too - loved everything about our stay including excellent precautions relative to Coronavirus prevention.

Lovely 1 night stay with a fab view from our room and delicious evening meal too good access to beach walk would recommend and yes we will be back

Lovely hotel and staff i felt very safe during this pandemic if I stay again I would request a room at the back as the view is stunning. Great breakfast and a comfortable bed.

Very nice, staff are wonderful, breakfast was very good, especially the haggis! They are dealing very well with COVID restrictions. I would recommend this lovely hotel.
