Sunny Baška Hotel by Valamar, ex Corinthia

The hotel was in a convenient location, very close to the beach. The hotel staff were polite and friendly. The food was excellent with a very varied choice. I would definitely visit again.

Great location with a lovely pool and very comfortable loungers. Good breakfast buffet. Overall good value for money. Our room was very tired but satisfactory.

Room was nice for the price. Only downside is that I was in building1 overlooking the roof of the restaurant so a bit dissapointed by that vthe seagulls would sit on the roof and squawk all morning. I asked to change room and the front desk agent said she found one to change me too but she had to ask her manager. The manager said no and that the would not change my room. I think it was because I was an online booker with a cheap room night!!! The pool was lovely and the hotel is nice and close to all the action without being right on the beach. Overall great value for the money. The buffet breakfast was not the best I gaff while in croatia - that was totally average!!

We only stayed at the hotel for 3 nights but enjoyed it immensely. The weather was also excellent. The only downside was the fact that the hotel set the air conditioning at 25 degrees C and there is no way of reducing this level of heat other than turning it off and opening the window. We did this after the first night and if we had booked a room with a balcony it would have been even better. I thought that 20/21 degrees C was a satisfactory indoor temperature, even in winter!

I think Hotel Corinthia lived up to its standard of a three star hotel. It wasn't magnificent however not bad at all either; exactly what you would ecpect from the pictures and stars. The staff was welcoming and helpful, the rooms were clean. Outside- and inside pools seemed to be popular amongst families w children, and for those who prefer the beach, it was only 200 m away.
