Well located stopover to break a journey, the Town of Gretna with its amenities just a few minutes drive away. Staff very friendly.

Showing its age a little. I was charged £5 for parking which should be free in my opinion. Although it is good that the hotel is pet friendly, the charge for a pet is £20, so by the time I had added £25 for a pet and parking to the cost of my room, it isn’t a ‘budget’ price.

As always the convenient location

The price charged for a pet , it use to be £15 which I thought was steep but now it’s £20 is in my opinion ridiculously high. The pillows have changed , they are far from comfy now. There is also contradicting info on the booking page referencing changes to booking on the saver rate . Have not had a satisfactory response from either the hotel or booking.com

We’ve stayed here before. It’s just the ticket to rest your head after a long drive. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nothing about the property but the entrance road to the welcome break site and route to the hotel has poor road surface with potholes resulted in tyre damage and us needing to call out a specialist for a replacement tyre as it was unsafe. Expensive start to our holiday.
