Holiday Inn Scottsdale North- Airpark by IHG

Great staff. Convenient to freeway, hospital and shopping/dining.

Check in starts at 4pm. We checked in at 4:30 pm. We found our room to be spacious and comfortable, with the exception of the view. We looked out at the top and sides of a canapy that was dirty and had random building supplies in a corner. Of the 2 screens in the window, the left screen was filthy and appeared to have bars in it. Although check in had started less than an hour earlier, we were told no other rooms were available, but we could speak with the manager the next morning. When checking out the next day, we were told the manager didn't come that day. Very frustrating and definitely not worth the price.

This was a typical Holiday Inn property. The room and bed were fine. The bathroom could use some paint and deep cleaning. The pool was small but interesting shape. The waterfall feature created a great sound but the pool was Freezing cold. I stated that in my welcome text and got back- glad everything is good. I stated the Freezing pool again. No response. Asked to talk to a manager. Not available but they will contact you. Still waiting a week later. Decent at best.

The room was spacious and comfortable. But, the view out the window was awful. We were on the second floor and the entire view was the top and inside of a canapy, along with random building supplies shoved in a corner. One of the screens was filthy and difficult to even see through. The filth was so bad the screen appeared to have bars on it. When we asked for another room, we were told none were available. We had just checked in at 4:30 on a Friday afternoon and I doubt all rooms had been taken by then. We were told that a manager would be available the next morning if we wished to speak with her. Yet when we checked out the next morning, we were told the manager does not come in on Saturday mornings. I would not recommend this hotel.
