Hampton Inn & Suites Ephrata - Mountain Springs

It was a great location. Loved walking thru town. Staff was great and friendly.

Unfortunately I have to leave a negative review not to conditions of the hotel, but the customer service of The Hampton Inn and Hilton. I booked a room for five. The picture and description detailed a fold out couch. I was put into a room for four. My wife checked in later in the day and another room wasn’t available so my daughter slept I. The floor with pillows. The next day I went to see the hotel manager and he said I’d have to check out of my room and check back in to another bigger room later. I have a family of five and I was due at a wedding. Not a convenient option. He said I should go onto Hilton.com and take it up with them. Which I did. I got a confirmation email that the complaint was logged and was told that I would be contacted in three days, which I was not. I finally called to follow up five days later and spent an hour on the phone after being disconnected twice. I was told twice that there was a mix up because I reserved the room through a third party site, which I didn’t. Then they told me it was my fault for reserving the wrong sized room, which I didn’t. Why would I get a room for four when I have a family of five???!? Worst customer service ever. They accepted no blame whatsoever. Will never, EVER, stay in a Hilton again unless they contact me and provide some form of recourse.

A grat feel to it. A bit on the exclusive side. Professional and hospitable receptionist. Nice location and view. Take the elevator to the base, and stroll over to Applebees restaurant.

Breakfast served on cardboard plates (!). Booking.com says it has rooms with balconies, which we booked. But the hotel has none, which was a shame, as we looked forward to a glass of wine with a view.
