Acajou Beach Resort

Lovely boutique hotel, very quiet as decentralised from the village but within walking distance. Very accessible for senior people as well as families due to connecting rooms available and a long flat beach.. The rooms are big with nice balcony. The hotel and the rooms are extremely clean. The staff has been very accommodating and friendly, offering early check in and late check out, which was extremely appreciated.

The bed was a little too soft and the pool is not the best for seniors - no handle and a huge 50cm steps to reach the pool.

Beautiful beach, maybe the best one if you like to swim in the ocean rather then in pool, was so much fun to dive into waves with my son. Its a beautiful hotel where you can find anything you need. Helpful and friendly staff, delicious food and breakfast, comfy rooms. We loved it.

Location- on a beautiful beach

This property is advertised and priced as a 4-star resort, but in reality it is maximum a 3-star hotel due to outdated facilities and poor maintenance. Room: The room was only partially renovated. The bathroom was very old, with worn fixtures and heavy limescale. The door had large gaps between the frame and the door, and during rain it felt uncomfortable and insecure – far from a 4-star standard. Restaurant & common areas: There is only one restaurant, located in the same small space with reception and bar. The area is dark, unrenovated and far from the beach. Only the bar corner looked slightly updated; the rest was old and unattractive, more like a budget hotel. Food: Very limited choice, poor quality and almost no variety. At breakfast we had practically nothing to eat except omelette, completely unacceptable for this price level. Gardens & pool: The “gardens” are just a small neglected courtyard with burnt grass and plants in pots, nothing close to Seychelles vegetation. The pool is small and has no ocean view, only a hedge and an unused paved area in front. Pool bar: Old, dirty tables near the pool and it was never open during the hours we were there. Staff: After we complained and requested to leave, the attitude became unfriendly and no solution was offered. For around 600 EUR per night, these conditions are absolutely unjustified. We decided to leave after 2 nights, losing the rest of the stay because the hotel refused any assistance. Fortunately, Booking.com handled the situation professionally and compensated us partially – 10/10 for Booking. Conclusion: This property is seriously overpriced and does not meet a 4-star standard. I recommend travelers to carefully consider other options in Praslin.

Abbiamo adorato soggiornare qui, tutto lo staff e’ super gentile, il resort dal vivo e’ ancora piu’ bello che in foto. La spiaggia e’ stupenda e paradisiaca, le camere molto belle e spaziose. Sulla piscina sono super gentili ed e’ tranquillissima, kuruppu e’ stato il nostro migliore amico per il soggiorno 😊 era super attento e disponibile per ogni richiesta. Se dovessi ritornare a praslin sicuramente ritornerei qui ad occhi chiusi. Hanno anche dato il mio nome ad un drink🤣 se andate prendete il Sara cocktail e non ve ne pentirete , è stra buono.
