Mango Bay Resort

Very happy with management and staff ,made us feel so welcomed and always willing to help out if we had any problems. Can't say enough about the the staff they are special people. They staff made our family feel like their family, always happy and always went out there way to make our stay great. If you want to get down to the simple living this is the place to stay, no TV but does have WiFi. Plenty of activities for the family ,you don't need to leave the Resort if you wish. The main City is about 1and 1/2 hours way . They can offer a shopping trip if you wish. If you want to relax and like resort activities this is the place to stay. My family and i loved it and would go back again.

Ed and the Mango Bay team went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay and an amazing week in Fiji. We stayed in an oceanview bungalow which was close to the pool and restaurant/bar area and really comfortable with a lovely outdoor shower and the convenience of a fridge in the room. Continental breakfast was included in our booking served from 7:30-9:30. It had the normal coffee/tea/juice/toast and cereal and also included fresh fruit and a local pastry. Food is available all day and is lovely and fresh with daily specials which always include a local fish recipe. The cocktails are great too and you can’t beat having a pina colada in the pool! The pool is lovely and big with sun loungers and a couple of cabanas. There are standup paddle boards, kayaks and snorkels/masks which guests can use for free at high tide. You can also walk along the beach/reef at low tide. Ed was really knowledgable about local tours and booked the tubing tour for us (not to be missed) as well as giving us advice on getting the local bus so we could do the Bula coffee tour (also recommended) and see the town of Sigatoka. We also arranged a transfer direct with the hotel which was much easier (and cheaper) than using a local company. Overall we had a greet stay and were made to feel really welcome and part of the Mango Bay family!

Well as a first time visitor to Fiji this was the best accommodation I stayed in. The surroundings are sensational, the service is awesome, the Bura was comfortable and all our needs were met by the most amazing staff. A giant thank you to Ed,Tina, Seetha, Naomi, Marge, Kini for making us so welcome and loved. The food was delicious, those Fijian doughnuts to die for and to our chef who made that our special 2 course Fijian Indian meal for our game night was outstanding. Ed the owner went above and beyond with great activity suggestions and we ended up having the best time. It’s not just a resort, it was like home for a week, and I will definitely be going back to my Fijian home. Thank you so much for your outstanding hospitality.

Firstly I want to extend my thanks & gratitude to Ed & the team for everything! You have made our experience memorable & smooth as possible. Mango Bay hits the in between of your ideal private paradise & a family orientated vibe! I can not thank you enough Ed for meeting all my needs & answering my millions of questions lol We all miss this place esp. my parents - it become home for us! From the comms, to the service, the FOOD!, the lagoon pool, beach, the guests! It was more than what we expected. The Garden rooms are not your boujee hotel vibe but it met our needs! It has fans & it's helpful esp. for kids who get sick from the air cons. like mine - I loved the fans & its cool at night :) the food you would have to order much earlier as they make the food with love - so it's worth the wait!!! Shout out to Naomi & Esther for bringing the vibe & being the hostess of the mostess! Thank you again for looking after us! appreciate you team :) Will definitely be back & highly recommending this place to everyone else thinking of where to go in Fiji - VINAKA!

A great, small resort, much closer to the real Fiji than the large ones. The beachfront bures are the pick of them, but garden ones are fine. Very good food - including local options - a highlight. A lovely outlook, nice beach, good snorkelling. Owner Ed extremely helpful and knowledgeable, especially re: activities and tours. Loved our time there.

Mango bay resort is a private little gem with bungalows scattered in a beautiful garden. To complete the tropical feel, the beach is right in front of the restaurant. Free snorkelking, kayaking and paddle boarding are available in the private bay. Drinks and Food were delicious (specially the Fish tacos), prompt and very affordable. Ed and his staff are amazing. They go above and beyond to help you make your stay an unforgettable experience. We just got back home and are already missing the place.

Mango bay resort is a beautiful private little resort with bungalows in a lovely tropical garden. The beach is right in front of the restaurant for a beautiful view and free snorkelking, kayaking and paddle boarding in the private bay. Food was delicious (love the Fish tacos), prompt and very affordable. Ed and his team are very friendly and go above and beyond to help you and make it a great experience to stay there. We just got home yesterday and are already missing the place.

Loved this resort. It's so easy to arrive and be completely taken care of. The staff are brilliant - they make an effort to remember everyone's name! Great advice on tours and experiences. Highly recommend.

We booked Mango Bay for the location, between Sigatoga and Suva. The proprietors Ed and Jen were always approachable and really liked that they would spend time getting to know their guests. The grounds were well landscaped at all times and the canoes, snorkeling and paddleboards in excellent condition. All the staff from Reception, House Keeping, Kitchen and the Bar made you feel so welcome with happy smiles as they went about the day. Vinaka!

We really liked our stay here, staff is friendly and the owner dropped us at the bus station 2km further. It was quiet, we were about 8 people at the same time for the entire resort. The garden bure was huge (2 bathrooms) and confortable. The resort is isolated but perfect for some rest. Snorkeling & kayaking were free and the reef was magical. Restaurant was good but sometimes not in huge quantity. We recommend this place to anyone who like peace.
