Good price Good location I have been many times Reception helpful and got room ready quick

I arrived early and didn’t expect the room to be ready , the man at reception was very friendly and helpful, he pushed for the room to be ready around 11am which is great and I appreciate it. I work myself in a 5* Hotel in UK and know how hard housekeeping have the days and how many rooms they turn over. I appreciated the room being ready early but the cleanliness came at a cost. - multiple long black hairs on the floor - hair on the bed - stain on bedding - clothing tag on floor - bathroom work top by sink stained and not cleaned - shower floor full of small black curly hairs (pubic) - balcony floor food crumbs Overall the cleanliness of the room took a bad turn , I emailed and emplaned to which they sent a gentleman up to clean the floor , the man was kind but had not used a broom in a long time. He didn’t get all the hairs and I felt it was a waste of time. The cleanliness of the room had me questioning what had actually been cleaned and how the standards are met, is there a manager or supervisor who inspects the rooms so they meet standards ? I slept with my hoody on top and did not sleep in the covers, the floor I wore flip flops or socks as it was grainy and not cleaned. - I am sad this happened, coming from hospitality I feel disappointed.
