Stayed here in April for a weeks holiday. This is our second visit to this hotel and it was lovely to see the refurbished outdoor pool which looks great - I did venture in twice but it was April and still very cold! The rooms are spacious and very well equipped with a complimentary mini bar (there are a couple of things which are chargeable). Cleaned every day by the lovely housekeeping staff to a very high standard. The bathrooms have also had a refurb since our last visit in 2023 and now have beautiful spacious walk in rainfall showers - absolutely lovely! My only issue this trip was the air conditioning which was switched off?? The rooms were absolutely stifling at night and it was nigh on impossible to get a good sleep due to the heat. I did relent one night and stupidly opened the patio doors to get some fresh air (our room was on the second floor) and woke up the following morning with 12 MOSQUITO BITES 🙈 - I should have know better but the room was sooo hot I couldn’t bear it and took the chance. I did have a mosquito plug switched on and repellant but made absolutely no difference to these blighters!! It appears the air conditioning is switched on towards the end of April so something to bear in mind. Finally - upon checking out PLEASE check your bill. We knew we had a very small amount to pay from items we used from the mini bar, however, someone had a good night in the hotel bar and used OUR room number! We didn’t eat/drink in the hotel (apart from breakfast) I asked to see the receipts and they were most definitely not our signatures! So someone was chancing it - something the hotel should tighten up on I feel? Thankfully the receptionist agreed with us and removed the charge from our bill. Apart from these couple of issues, we had a great holiday although spent a small fortune on anti histamine tablets/creams etc for my nasty mozzie bites!! We would definitely return to this hotel as the location of perfect - across from the beautiful marina and only a few steps to the paseo for Torremolinos. Please try Kaleido bar at the marina - a stones throw from the hotel and has live music then a DJ every evening.

Staff in all departments were good the food was excellent and location also good.

Everything about Mac Puerto Marina was exceptional, I could not fault any aspects of the hotel. From been welcomed at the reception on arrival to leaving our whole experience was wonderful. Would definitely go back.

this is the third time i have stayed at this hotel not the cheapest but it is the best,firstly the position in a great spot next to the marina the staff are wonderful cannot do enough for you. the rooms are very good big shower very spacious imaculately clean the food is great plenty of variety and warm there is something for everybody. the pool area is great the pool has been redisigned plus free towels,you do not have to fight for a sunbed plenty here. lastly when you arrive there is a glass of cava or orange welcoming for you.this hotel is first class i would reccomend it to anyone,i have booked it twice for next year already.

I will not stay at this hotel again (first time here) usually stay at the Alay. They have amazing customer service as in they offer drinks on arrival and more drinks in the mini fridge. However they do not offer air con between the hours of 2pm till 8pm. We have not been able to sleep the whole time as the room is boiling….so do they care about customer comfort????
