Sylvania Inn

Only stayed one night... thank goodness. The smell of the room was terrible and the pillows (if you want to call them that) were not good at all. Did not sleep well at all. Paid less elsewhere for a better room. Not sure what that smell was (old, moldy, idk) but it was really strong and really bad.

There was no hair dryer int he room and the cleaning people did not make up the bed or clean the bathroom.

Very nice staff. Rooms need updating and beds need new mattresses

For a cheaper hotel in a small town, it did the job...

Dirty. Hangers around. Not safe feeling. No amenities. Dirty. Not worth the price. Charged 100.00 for a 25.00 room

Not bad at all for the Price

Front Desk Person really friendly and helpful. Hotel was pleasant after a long days drive. Area not so great. But hotel felt safe and comfortable.

Motel is old and needs upgrade. Clientele is mostly construction crew working locally. Bathroom is particularly dingy.

Dated, but pleasant. An adequate stopover to break up a long trip. Room nicely furnished and a very good tv with direct tv service.

We checked into hotel with no issues. The room was clean, but when we went to shower that evening around 10:00 p.m., the shower handle fell off, and when we tried to replace it, we found that the plumbing was broken off inside. It was late, we were tired, and we didn't get our shower. When I spoke to the manager the next morning and told him about the issue, he didn't even offer to make any accommodations, give any refund or try to satisfy me. I did make a statement that if the cleaning staff had washed the shower after the last customer, they would have found the handle was broken, which I deduce they did not clean the shower/tub. Will not recommend.
