The room was nice and clean and a lovely view

The poolside bar food was just about fair frozen chips and probably the most uninviting salad ever. The worst Gin & Tonic ever served no ice no lemon just a glass with gin in and a bottle of tonic

Location was excellent with an incredible view & facilities overlooking the bay and Vesuvius. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic room - bright, modern, very clean, spacious. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. Very easy parking.

• No heated pool so water was very cold in April. • We were woken each morning about 6:30 due to noise from the hallways (mixture of staff working quarters downstairs and other guests) & a drilling/hammering sound. Hard to sleep past this time.

Extremely disappointed with management attitude. There is ZERO willingness to leave guests satisfied or happy, unless you give them EVEN more money. I paid €2,500 euros for 10 nights, basic room. For this pricely sum, you get the following. 1) A concrete wall directly in front of your patio door. 2) A concrete balcony directly above you room. 3) These combined leave the balcony extremely encased in gloom and cold. I had to stare up to the sky to see if the sun was even out as the balcony was so gloomy that I wouldn't even want to sit on it. 4) A room so dark that you have to keep the lights on at all time because of the wall in front and balcony above the door. Basic room or not, for €2,500, I expect more than the above. Management refused to move me to a higher room with a modicum of natural light and said if I wanted more light, I would have to pay for it. Yesterday, the manager said if I wanted to upgrade, it would be an EXTRA €220 per night, but in the circumstances they would discount this. Not going to happen. I've paid more than enough. A different reservation manager today also refused to move me unless i paid them extra to upgrade. Clearly happy customers are not at the heart of their values as a hotel and customer service is at the low end of their priorities. UNLESS YOU PAY THEM EVEN MORE MONEY. Appaling and so disappointing. Currently in room 403.

Property was clean and easy walk to town

A simple thing like finding water mid morning, was very difficult. Water should be easily accessible at all times of the day.
