Hotel Venice Resort Airport

There is construction everywhere around the hotel. The pool area is fenced off, and it was unclear whether it was even in use. The hotel itself did not feel very safe — the view is mostly of construction sites, and the surrounding area feels neglected. The room itself was generally okay, but there were hairs on the pillow when we arrived. What made the stay uncomfortable was the overall feeling of insecurity. There were constantly people walking around outside, and at one point someone even tried our room door handle. For one night, especially in an emergency or if you need to stay close to the airport, it is acceptable. However, if you have other options available, I would not recommend staying here.

Location to airport. Shuttle service. They even took us to a local restaurant and picked us up afterwards. There’s a small pool though. It seems to be shared by an adjacent property and can get crowded. Out there that serves alcoholic beverages and ice cream for the kids good breakfast in the morning. And flexible shuttle back to the airport.

Noisy! Old building so you one hears every step from rooms above. Bed was very hard and caused me physical discomfort. Mosquito problem on patio. They really need to spray as dengue is a real concern in Italy.

Next to the airport

Impossible to book to shuttle to the airport at the desired time. The toilet was leaking, the air condition not working. They tried to charge us for drinks we never had.

Sehr schöner Poolbereich, riesiger Parkplatz, tolle Lage (Bus nach Venedig um die Ecke), sehr schönes Zimmer.

Kühlschrank funktioniert nicht, wird aber als Benefit angegeben. Als ich gesagt habe er geht nicht, meinte die Dame bei der Rezeption das gehört so, sie weiß es. Er hat vielleicht Raumtemperatur, finde das sollte als Benefit entfernt werden. Am Frühstückstisch steht ein Menü mit „Extras“, wie Omelette um €4. Als ich eines bestellen wollte, wollte es mir die Servierkraft ausreden und meinte 100 mal warum ich denn extra zahlen will, wenn es eh alles beim Buffet gibt. Wenn die Ressourcen nicht vorhanden sind, dann sollte man die Option nicht anbieten. Aber dem Kunden etwas ausreden zu wollen, obwohl er bereit ist zu zahlen, nur weil man keine Lust hat es zuzubereiten, find ich nicht okay.

Checkin dauerte etwas lange, und die Fensterläden durften nicht geöffnet werden.
