Location was great … staff were amazing … room was nice and clean

The biggest advantage of this hotel is its excellent location. It's only about a 10-minute walk from the Leaning Tower and Pisa's main attractions, with plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The room was very clean, and I appreciated the complimentary bottled water in the minibar. Overall, I had a pleasant stay thanks to the location, cleanliness, and wonderful staff, but the hotel would benefit from a thorough renovation and modernization.

On the downside, the hotel feels very outdated overall. The large, heavy room keys felt like something from the 1990s, and although the rooftop terrace offers a beautiful view, it's simply a terrace—you can't order drinks there and have to buy them from the reception on the ground floor. The room had a nice fresco on one wall, but the cracked walls took away from its charm. The TV was actually a very small computer monitor rather than a proper television. Another issue was that the interior door lock came loose and fell off during my stay, which didn't inspire much confidence in the room's maintenance.
