property was nice aesthetically however walkways were poorly lit slippery and unsafe my husband took 30 ft fall down ravine from open un railed stairwell

Thisos a small little boutique hotel that is beautiful. The staff were so helpful, the food was good, the rooms were clean and comfortable. There we only 2 things that were not perfect and really not a big deal. Frist there is not an elevator and there are many steps up to the room with luggage. Secondly in room 17 you could easily here the music from YOLO. There is another gpod sode pf this hotel; MONKEYS!

Beautiful property located in a great location. We saw the most wildlife from the hotel and saw all three types of monkeys, scarlet macaws, and yellow-throated tucans, all from our balcony! Lastly, Moses the bartender is phenomenal and a great host, and very welcoming. Could not recommend a better place than Ecotica!

The staff were very friendly and the hotel grounds were very beautiful. A frog even stayed right outside our bungalow for a while, and we saw capuchin monkeys on our balcony. Downside is that the wifi was very very slow, virtually nonexistent at times. Also beware of bugs.

This place blew away my expectations. We stayed for a week. The staff is excellent. Shout out to Moises who is the best! Pool area is great with good drinks and food as well as service. Yolo had some of the best food in the area and super convenient. Guest services was super helpful and arranged all of our activities and even let my son borrow a wireless phone charger for a few days since he was having problems. Rooms are clean and maid service was daily and great. Felt super safe. Monkeys rolling in a few times a day was a treat as well. I would definitely stay again.

Very nice people

The property really makes you feel like you’re in the middle of a rainforest, but the staff does a great job of making sure you are enjoying your stay. I highly recommend Ecotica.

I booked this property based on rating, photos, and price. Everything was wonderful! Beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast included! The pool area with bar is lovely. We saw many monkeys around the property but they did not interfere. We stayed in the suite rooms building, great room but only issue was some street noise; not a deal breaker! I would certainly recommend Ecotica!
