Hotel Union Geiranger Bad & Spa

The hotel is beautiful and the service is great, but the room was outdated.

Wonderful hotel with a great view, pool, hot tub, and spacious rooms. Especially nice that there is a free self serve washing machine! Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel needs to refurnish some team members at the hotel restaurant working there since over 45 years but she had attitude when you talking to her , but the girl working on front desk when we checked in she was nice and very friendly , the cost 💲 its too expensive compared with the value of the hotel services .

Had a nice, one-night stay at Hotel Union overall. The hotel retains the vibes of an older era which is cozy, but many things are in need of updating and/or maintenance. Quite a bit of broken things here and there. The breakfast was great, and our favorite part of the stay by far. Unfortunately for us, there were some events at the hotel with many associated overnight guests leading to loud, drunk guests roaming the corridors at night and waking us up. Staff seems very friendly and ready to help.

A very special property. The spa and sauna were awesome. Make sure that you visit the auto museum and the really unique activity center featuring car parts as decor.

Nice hotel located up on top of the hill so if you're coming from the ferry and have luggage you will have to lug it up the hill. Nice breakfast buffet.

Property has great history and is well cared for. Dinner and breakfast buffet options are nice but expensive. Wish hotel has more selection for a la carte menu

Location and facilities are amazing, unfortunately customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Checking process not very friendly. Was basically here's your key and that's it. Could've at least explained which elevator to take as there are 2 elevators and depending which room you have you need to take one or the other. Guest shouldn't have to be wonder around trying to find the room when they could at least let you go know which one to take. Another disappointing thing that given the price point, one would expect there being some sort of 24 hour room service. If you arrive late, kitchen is closed at 10 and there's literally 0 food options until the morning, there's nothing open in town either.

The bed - amazingly comfortable. The spa - elite as it gets. The staff were lovely even during high tourist season. But the management was lacking - the front desk manager was unpleasant and I saw the restaurant manager snap at the hostess who was helping me (she didn't see me). Not like Norway, the most kind and hospitable country I've been to in a long time.

Union hotel was fantastic and the views were stunning. Less than stunning was the terrible support I received from Hotels.com. They misrepresented the features of the room. The front desk agreed with me that Hotels.com misrepresented the room I booked. Hotels.com refused to admit they misrepresented the room doubling down on the misrepresented room. Stick to your lie and never admit your wrong. This is now Hotels.com customer service position.
