"Amazing hotel. Exceptional Staff!"

Absolutely wonderful stay at Taj Ganges, Varanasi. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, but what really made the experience special was the staff. Every person we interacted with was warm, kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful. The service felt personal without ever being overdone. From the front desk to housekeeping to the restaurant team, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of. The staff truly represents the hospitality Taj is known for. They made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived, and their kindness left a lasting impression. Taj Ganges is a lovely hotel, but the people working there are what make it amazing. Highly recommend staying here when visiting Varanasi.

"A very satisfying stay with a homely feel."

Food was excellent and the staff were attentive. The concierge was great in booking taxis and tours.

The mattress in the old wing was quite uncomfortable. Not until I was moved to the new wing, did I find it acceptable. Other than this issue everything was just perfect.

Ambiance was nice and in a private atmosphere. It is a bit outside of the center which results in less noise and traffic. There reasonably amount of space between the Main Street and the hotel which supports the privacy.

Our checkout went less smooth than expected. The reserved airport shuttle was not properly documented resulting in some delay. Obviously this can happen.
