Meeru Maldives Resort Island

the island is nice, beautiful sunset, beach, water. The transfer is ok by boat, 45min.

The hotel is like a 4 star maxim! the beach villa are very old, no coffe machine like nespresso. In the water villa we had nesspreso, but still the villa was old and destroyed. very used! The bufet was ok, but i would like more fruit. We had NO coffee at breakfast, like espresso.. we pay 8,5$ for each coffee. The sunbeds were plastic one very old also. the bedsteet also like a 3*... not a 5 * resort.

The island is very well managed. The rooms have different levels of amenities, ours was a Jacuzzi Beach Villa. Not new but still in good condition and the position right on the beach was amazing. The beach itself is wide and pristine. Staff is very knowledgeable and supportive to all the needs.

There are signs everywhere asking for "non smoking" and "no drones'. Since the place is supposed to be for relaxing, I suggest to add signs for "no loud cellphone ringtones" as well!

Garden room is close to the restaurant, and that is the only good when it comes to garden room.

It is time for real honest review of Garden room without holding back.Garden room is very expensive and not worthy the money.It smells bad from the toilet, it smells very much and it is not good.I saw 2 cockroach.Go and see for yourself.Many mosquitos there too.No privacy, because other garden rooms are there close to each other, but the biggest red flag is toilet, it smells so much bad and this is not acceptable for huge amount of money that they charge for this garden room, big red flag for garden room,never coming to garden room again.

delicious foods, amazing views and snorkeling- saw reef sharks and stingrays. Played golf, badminton, table tennis and billiard

garden room had comfortable bed and restaurant is near by, that is all, nothing more positive except that.

I went to the toilet to take a shower and I noticed 2 cockroaches, they were big and they were walking normally inside bathroom,noone from the hotel is doing anything to remove cockroaches from bathroom.But they charge huge amount of money for garden room.Garden room is so much overrated and not worth the money.When you enter garden room you feel like you wasted your money, especially after you smell the not good smell coming from the toilet of garden room.This is not acceptable for resort that claims to be 5 start resort and this is not acceptable for huge amount of money that they take from you for garden room.For what?for not good smell from the toilet and for cockroaches?Enormous red flag and I will never come here again.Go to garden room at your own risk and see for yourself.
